2017 marks the official 300th birthday of Freemasonry, celebrating how three hundred years ago, on 24 June 1717, four London Lodges came together to form a Grand Lodge, the first in the world.
The Tercentenary will be commemorated with a calendar of high profile events both nationally and locally. The celebration will highlight Freemasonry’s position as one of the oldest and largest secular, apolitical, fraternal and charitable organisations in the world and help the organisation continue to grow and flourish, as we have over the past 300 years.
The Provinces of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire are teaming up to celebrate the 300 year anniversary by hosting a Family Race Day at the Royal Windsor Racecourse on Sunday 2nd July 2017. Click here for more details and to book.
Our Tercentenary is not only an important historical landmark celebrating 300 years of heritage, but also Freemasonry and its benevolent values and relevance in society today. Come and share in the fun and celebrations.
