We invite you to a unique and thought-provoking evening to be held at Sindlesham Masonic Centre, which will explore an aspect of Freemasonry for Berkshire Freemasons.
The Berkshire Lodge of Enlightenment no 9946 has been honoured by UGLE to be allowed to host one of only four official presentations of the 2018 Prestonian Lecture.
“A good workman praises his tools: Masonic metaphors in Ancient Greece” by W Bro Christopher Noon, AGDC
The Prestonian lecture is the only lecture given under the authority of the United Grand Lodge of England. It is named after William Preston (1742 – 1818) who was regarded as the foremost Masonic educator of his time. He generously left a legacy to provide for an Annual Lectureship. This year’s lecture, W Bro Christopher Noon, AGDC is an Oxfordshire Mason and the secretary of Apollo University Lodge no 357.
The dining fee of £30 will include the booklet of the lecture. Should you wish to receive a booklet but are unable to dine these can be purchased for £5. Please inform the Lodge Secretary ASAP to allow W Bro Noon to bring the required number of booklets.
