An inter-active workshop was held for Lodge Care Teams at Sindlesham on Thursday, 11th June 2015.
If you missed this workshop A new Care Team page has been created on the Provincial Web site. This contains the 10 Point Plan for the Care Team concept and further materials available for download after the workshop.
The purpose of this workshop was to discuss the progress made so far and any issues being experienced in the setting up of the Care Team. Tools and suggestions will be provided which should help Lodge Care Teams retain members and create a caring atmosphere.
For those lodges that are uncertain about the benefits of creating a Lodge Care Team, there will be a discussion about how they will make a real difference.
For those Lodges that already have their Care Teams in place, after the event, there will be links to documentation to support their efforts.
Please bear in mind that whilst recruitment has been maintained this year, members are still being lost unnecessarily and from the reasons given, basic care and contact by Lodges could stem these resignations. It must be remembered that it is far easier to keep existing members than it is to find new ones and Lodge Care Teams will go a long way towards fixing that problem for all Lodges.
All members, or potential members, of Lodge Care Teams are encouraged to attend.
The Provincial Executive thank you in advance for your support your support and I look forward to seeing you and your team at Sindlesham on Thursday 11th June at 7.30pm
