Freemasons do not make street connections for our charities but we are happy to lend the man and woman power to help other charities and last weekend a team were out at Asda and at Dobbies Garden Centre helping CLIC Sargent with their bucket appeal by raising £1,094.09.
Sophie Barwood for the Big Bucket Collection team said: “On behalf of everyone at CLIC Sargent I want to say a huge thank you to you for coordinating your Big Bucket Collection at the weekend.
I hope you and your team of helpers had a really fun and festive time. By giving your time in this way not only have you raised vital funds to help us to continue to support children and young people with cancer, you have also played a significant role in helping us to increase awareness of childhood cancer and its effect on families throughout the UK.
Every single penny you have raised is incredibly important and will make a real difference to helping children and young people with cancer”.
