Berkshire Masonic Centre,
In 1969, the home of Berkshire Freemasonry moved from its previous home in Reading (‘Old Greyfriars’, now a Sainsbury’s on the corner of Friar St/Greyfriars Rd) to its current location, Sindlesham Court in Wokingham. Sindlesham Lodge was the very first Lodge to be consecrated at the new site, which is now the home of Berkshire freemasonry.
We are a friendly and inclusive Lodge, with many members of different faiths, professions and ages, which makes us unique amongst Lodges in Berkshire. We recognise that a man’s work and family are foremost and we are flexible in accommodating today’s modern life style. We encourage a lively and enjoyable social calendar, which we hope includes your wife, partner and family, but recognise that there are many other demands on your time. Our Lodge Care Team focuses on the Masonic Values of Integrity, Kindness, Honesty, Fairness and Respect and works to support the enjoyment of all members in the Lodge. We have many masonic contacts locally (we encourage masonic visiting), in London and with our twinned Lodge, in Germany.
We meet 5 times a year at Sindlesham Court, on the Third Friday in April (Installation), May, June, September and October. Meetings start at 6PM, dining at 8.15PM; we aim to finish by 10PM, though dining is not obligatory. Interested? Then please contact us for an informal chat and meet us at a time that suits you. We look forward to hearing from you.
