Riding for the Disabled (RDA) in Blewbury has been able to buy new riding helmets for the children thanks to the generosity of the Arranwell Lodge of Freemasons in Wantage who donated £700 to the charity.
RDA has have been carrying out their life-changing activities for over 40 years and take great pride in the exceptional standard of their instructors and volunteers. They offer activities for all age groups and, wherever possible, to people with any disability. The enjoyment the children have riding in this environment, together with the positive impact it has on their lives, is clear to see.
Evelyn Bracey from the RDA in Blewbury said that the money was received with many thanks from the staff and volunteers at the centre and will be put to use to purchase new helmets for the children.
Hamish Forbes-Forsyth from the Arranwell Lodge of Freemasons said “I am very proud to be part of an organisation that can so make such a marked improvement to other people’s lives”.
