This year we are delighted to produce the first Annual Review for Berkshire Province. The concept of the Annual Review was introduced by our APGM WBro. Robin Kent, with the intention of providing a platform to give our Members a valued insight into the last Provincial year, and to demonstrate the pride we have in the achievements we have realised together. A print copy of the publication will be delivered to each of you by post. However, if you cannot wait, then please go ahead and enjoy this online version.
The Annual Review contains an engaging variety of articles, which we hope will be of interest to you all, from the activities and events that have been organised by our Members, to the benefits of The Members’ Pathway, the charitable endeavours of The Berkshire Masonic Charity and the continuing progress of the Berkshire 2023 Festival. You will be pleased to find contributions from several members of the Provincial Executive Team, including statements from the Provincial Grand Master, RWBro. Anthony Howlett-Bolton OBE, and the Provincial Grand Secretary, WBro. Laurence Fretwell. The Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies, WBro. Jim Sampins, provides us with a thoughtful article on the importance of Ritual and Ceremony. We are also delighted to include an interesting article on Holy Royal Arch Masonry from the ME Grand Superintendent, E Comp Ian Hopgood.
It is hoped that we will continue to publish the Annual Review and we look forward to your help in making it better every year.
Wishing you and your families good health in these challenging times.
Yours Sincerely and Fraternally,
WBro. Pat Whelan
Provincial Communications Officer
