On 6th December, W. Bro Colin Benford together with W. Bro Jim Sampins – Prov. Grand Director of Ceremonies – gave a cheque for £1,400 to no. 22, a charity based in Maidenhead.  The donation was in conjunction The Berkshire Masonic Charity and the Christopher Wren Lodge.

No.22, which refers to its original building in Maidenhead, accepts referrals from anyone who needs support. Its main focus is on people aged between 11 and 18 but will also help families and adults if they are referred to them.  This donation will be used to give 20 of their volunteers up to four days each of certified Professional Development in Family Counselling.

Mrs Shula Tajima, Director of Counselling Services said: “This generous donation will help us in delivering our services to more people in Maidenhead.  It will make a significant difference to what we do and how we help people that are experiences difficulties with their lives.”
