Ruth Hawes of Windsor Girls’ School receives her “The Berkshire Masonic Charity’s School Charity Award” from Richard Grayson. Ruth was nominated for her regular thoughtful work for a number of local charities.
“The Berkshire Masonic Charity’s School Charity Award” might be a bit of a mouthful but it’s a good description of the award that recognises the work of charity-minded school students across Berkshire. The award will be starting its 5th year in September with 72% of the 47 state secondary schools in Berkshire taking part. A major expansion is underway to extend the offer to the 25 independent schools in Berkshire in the coming year.
There will be a feature on the Berkshire Masonic Charity’s School Charity Award in the September edition of The Link.
